The purpose of our Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) training is to assist academics and tertiary students quickly appreciate the software and use it in the shortest possible time to conduct quantitative research through an efficient hands-on approach. We offer three types of SPSS training including basic, intermediate and advanced training.

Basic SPSS training (duration 30days; 3 days to 4 days a week)

Basic SPSS training covers:

a. Appreciating SPSS layout (menus and icons) and various editors (data editor, chart editor, pivot table editor, text editor)

b. Creating and manipulating data

c. Generating descriptive statistics (mean, sum, standard deviation, variance, minimum value, maximum value, and range)

d. Generating statistical models (correlation, linear regression, and analysis of variance (ANOVA).

e. Advise on how to get a free-of-cost version of SPSS if the trial version provided by IBM Statistics is inadequate for your needs.

Intermediate SPSS training (duration 60days; 3 days to 4 days a week)

Intermediate SPSS training covers:

a. All element of basic SPSS training.

b. Graphical statistical analysis

c. Advanced models of statistical analysis (except structural equation modelling).

Advanced SPSS training (duration 90days; 3 days to 4 days a week)

Advanced SPSS training covers:

a. All elements of intermediate SPSS training

b. Structural equation modelling

a. You become acquainted with SPSS to conduct your analysis in a relatively short time (30 days for basic training)

b. You work with a live teacher that holds your hand through the classes.

c. You learn from the comfort of your room.

d. Regular tasks provided to test your understanding of the lessons.

e. A final task that tests your ability to carry out SPSS analysis from questionnaire responses.

We primarily use "google meet" or "google remote desktop" platforms to offer classes (internet access required). Either you learn from your instructors SPSS computer screen, or your instructor teaches you SPSS using the SPSS version on your screen. 

Alternatively, we offer face-to-face training at a slightly higher amount.
